Frame for Durspek

I made this quickie frame (literally, an 1.3 hours, tops) for my favorite teacher and close friend Mr. Durspek. It seems a bit plain (purposeful) because in that front pocket is a ticket for a pretty sweet seat in the orchestra section for Beauty & the Beast. That seat is obviously next to mine, haha.

Craft Wreath (I think this was a Creative Cafe)

This project required A LOT of inking. Like, I can't explain how much inking it was, but imagine inking the edges of all those leaves - and they're LAYERED. I'd say it was 1.2 hours of JUST INKING. But, it's a nice decoration and I have to admit, inking is therapeutic.

Creative Cafe Dec 14

This was a really cute creative cafe craft. It's just a chipboard circle with some paper, a leaf ephemera thing, and some paper flowers.
And no, that isn't a boyfriend or anything like that. He's just a friend and it was a picture I thought would go well with this.

Christmas Quota: The Game!

The Doodle Dare Challenge at Whim-So-Doodle was my first real crafting challenge. They gave us a packet with a craft pizza box, some paper, some bedazzling material, and some ephemera. They said we could do anything, so I turned mine into a game. (: I was so afraid someone would have the same idea - I mean, it's a box! It could easily be turned into a game board. The game was fully functional with pieces, dice, rules, and fun. I did it 1930s vintage style. My competitors made a gift box and a '[daughter's name] is napping' door hanger.

I am very proud to say that I came in FIRST PLACE and won a $25 Whim-So-Doodle gift card. :D
